THE NEW GREEN STORY OF NEUGRÜNS

 

In the first weeks after our opening in October 2024, the delivery boxes were labeled :"Green Princes".

​

Quite a few stories have spun around the name Neugrüns Koche. We, the oldest chefs at Neugrüns, have been a couple since our training with Siegfried Rockendorf and opened the Neugrüns Koche restaurant after the birth of our third child.

 

We were already a family business and have become even more so thanks to our team. It was important to us from the start that we were allowed to develop as people, as cooks and as hosts. Teamwork is an essential part of our daily work. We, Eskil and Berit, would like to take this opportunity to thank all employees and apprentices who have walked the "new green way" with us!

We have learned a lot from each other and with each other. Cooking and hosting is a process that requires discussion and reflections on a daily basis. 

 

Now we can also reveal the secret of the name: we have a patron! Ms. Neugrün - like Magnum has Robin Master! Family that paved the way for enjoyment and stands by our side in hard times. Anyone who supports our work with pleasure or energy has become part of the new green family and can therefore call themselves "new green".

 

We are your chefs and hosts!

We are delighted by our guests who repeatedly place their trust in us and motivate us - the Neugrün team - every day to fulfill our task and to offer our apprentices the opportunity to learn cooking as a meaningful and sensory craft.
